Rodo Padilla Exhibition
REUNION WITH INNOCENCE

Rodo Padilla comes from a family of artisans from Tlaquepaque (Jalisco - Mexico). He began working in the family workshop when he was very young.
In his youth, his artistic curiosity led him to Japan, where he learned the secrets of Japanese ceramics. Later he went to Italy to continue his studies, where he specialized in sculpture.
The artisanal origins of his family workshop gave him the foundation to become the sculptor he is today.

In this exhibition "Reunion with Innocence" Rodo Padilla transports himself, and transports us, to those unique moments as if they were frozen in time.
He has delved into his childhood remembering special moments that reflect the simplicity of life.
Each piece in this collection of sculptures, characterized by an original use of color and, above all, by the ability to transmit the emotion of childhood, is a dreamlike and sensitive song that confronts us with what we are no longer but what we would like to be again.
Rodo Padilla's workshop
"Using ceramics as a primary medium is a wonderful thing as it is an inexhaustible means of experimentation."
